2General Principles

We process personal data only to the extent necessary to operate this website and to respond to your inquiries. No profiles are created about you, and your data is neither sold nor used for advertising.

3Hosting and Server Logs

This website is hosted by Vercel Inc., 340 S Lemon Ave #4133, Walnut, CA 91789, USA. It is delivered via the European region of Frankfurt am Main, so the site is served to you from Germany.

When the website is accessed, the hosting provider processes technically necessary connection data in server logs:

• IP address of the requesting device
• date and time of access
• the requested address, as well as status code and amount of data transferred
• the previously visited page, if your browser transmits it
• browser type and operating system

This data is required to deliver the site, ensure its stable operation and fend off attacks. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest lies in the secure and reliable operation of the website. The data is not combined with other data sources, and we do not analyze the logs to identify individual visitors.

A data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR is in place with Vercel. As it is a company based in the USA, access from the USA cannot be entirely ruled out. Such access is safeguarded by the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.

4Cookies

This website uses exactly one cookie:

• NEXT_LOCALE stores whether you want to read the site in German or English, so that your language choice is kept when you move between pages. It contains only the language code, i.e. “de” or “en”, and no identifier by which you could be recognized. It is a session cookie and is deleted as soon as you close your browser.

This cookie is strictly necessary for the service you have requested. Storing it therefore does not require consent under § 25(2) no. 2 TDDDG (German Telecommunications Digital Services Data Protection Act). The legal basis for the processing is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

We do not use cookies for analytics, tracking or advertising purposes, and we use neither Local Storage nor Session Storage. For this reason, there is no cookie banner here.

5Contact Form

When you send us an inquiry using the form on this website, we process:

• your name
• your email address
• your company, if you provide it; this field is optional
• the link to the property and your message
• the desired timeframe, if you select one

This information is sent by email to our mailbox and stored there. We do not create a database. For the technical sending of this one email, we use the service provider Brevo (see next section); your details are processed in the course of this, but are not used for advertising purposes and are not passed on to any other third parties.

The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR insofar as your inquiry is aimed at concluding a contract, and otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR based on our legitimate interest in responding to inquiries.

We keep your inquiry for as long as necessary to process it and to handle any follow-up questions, and delete it afterwards. Statutory retention periods under commercial and tax law remain unaffected.

Spam protection without captcha: The form contains a field that is invisible to you and only filled in by automated programs, as well as a measurement of the time between loading and submitting. Both serve solely to fend off spam. No additional personal data is collected in the process, and no third-party service is involved.

6Delivery Service Provider for the Form

For the technical delivery of form messages to our mailbox, we use Brevo, a service of Sendinblue GmbH, Köpenicker Straße 126, 10179 Berlin, Germany, part of the French company Brevo SAS.

In this process, the data you enter, i.e. name, email address, company, timeframe and your message, is transmitted to Brevo in order to generate and deliver the email. Processing takes place on servers within the European Union. Brevo may use sub-processors for delivery that are also based outside the European Union. Such transfers are safeguarded by the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.

The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR insofar as your inquiry is aimed at a contract, and otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR based on our legitimate interest in reliable delivery. A data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR is in place with Brevo.

Brevo does not use your details for its own purposes or for advertising. We do not sign you up for any newsletter.

7Contact by Email

Our mailbox is operated by IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Straße 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany. The servers are located in Germany. Inquiries from the form are delivered via IONOS and stored there. A data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR is in place.

If you write to us directly, we process the details in your email in order to handle your request. The legal basis and storage period are the same as in the previous section.

Please note that email transmission can have security gaps. Complete protection against access by third parties is not technically possible with email.

8Fonts, Videos and Images

The fonts used, Jost and Bodoni Moda, are delivered from our own server. There is no connection to Google servers, and no IP address is transmitted to third parties.

All videos and images are also stored on our own server. No content from YouTube, Vimeo, TikTok or comparable platforms is embedded, and no Google Maps are loaded.

9Links to Social Networks

In the footer, you will find links to our profiles on Instagram and TikTok. These are simple links, not embedded plugins. No data is transmitted to these networks unless you click the respective link. Only then do the privacy policies of the respective provider apply.

10Encryption

This website is delivered exclusively over an encrypted connection, recognizable by the padlock symbol in your browser’s address bar. This means the data you send us via the form cannot be read by third parties during transmission.

11Your Rights

You have the right at any time:

• to access the data stored about you, Art. 15 GDPR
• to rectification of inaccurate data, Art. 16 GDPR
• to erasure, Art. 17 GDPR
• to restriction of processing, Art. 18 GDPR
• to data portability, Art. 20 GDPR

You are under no legal or contractual obligation to provide us with personal data. However, without the details in the contact form, we cannot respond to your inquiry.

No automated decision-making, including profiling, pursuant to Art. 22 GDPR takes place.

We update this policy as soon as our processing changes, for example when a new feature is added. The version published here always applies.
